What types of tickets are available for students?

The tickets dedicated to students are:

Carte Imagine R

If you are under 26 years old and a student, you can benefit from the imagine R card, valid for 1 year.
This card allows you to travel throughout the Paris Region. The imagine R annual card costs €342, payable in a single payment or in 9 direct debits, with no surcharge + €8 handling fee. To subscribe, you need to pick up a registration file at an RATP station or apply online. Five starting dates will be offered: September 1st, October 1st, November 1st, December 1st or January 1st.

 

 

 

Carte Jeune

The SNCF offers a young person’s card for 12-27 year olds (€50), which allows you to benefit, under conditions, from discounts on TGV, TER and Intercity trains:

• 30% discount guaranteed on all TGV and Intercity trains with obligatory reservation
• 10% additional discount guaranteed on Prem’s tickets
• 25% to 50% discount on TER and Intercity trains without reservation
• Last-minute offers

The Carte Jeune also allows you to benefit from 25% discount on the lines France-Spain, France-Luxembourg, TGV Paris-Fribourg en Brisgau, Lyria, TGV France-Italy as well as France-Germany (under conditions) on journeys with obligatory reservation.
